Circle City Classic® Fan Festival & Parade Route Rules and Regulations
Food Vendor License: All food vendors must complete a Temporary Food Vendor License from the Marion County Health
Department. The Temporary Food Vendor License is available for download here at marionhealth.org/forms/ under the Food &
Consumer Safety. Be sure to download the Temporary Food Service Vendor document. The license must be filed not later than one week before the date of the game.
Trademark: The Indiana Black Expo, Inc. (IBE) logo and trademark are the exclusive property of Indiana Black Expo, Inc. The use
of the IBE logo or trademark is prohibited unless prior written consent is given by Indiana Black Expo, Inc. IBE will not be
responsible for refunding any fees or reimbursing any expenses arising out of the violation of this policy.
Installation: Fan Festival exhibitors may commence installation of their booths on the day of the game between 8:00 AM to
11:30 AM. All vendors must be set up by 11:30 AM; if not, your booth may be forfeited. All booths will be furnished with an 8ft
table and 3ft side railings.
Prohibited Articles & Activities: Pornography or any sexually explicit materials, gasoline, kerosene, acetylene, propane gas,
helium balloons or other flammable or explosive substances or excessively noisy items are not permitted on the grounds. No
beer, wine or alcoholic beverages can be sold. Profanity will not be tolerated. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the
exhibit area. All promotional campaigns referencing Circle City Classic® that have not been preapproved by IBE are prohibited.
Exhibitors Note of Extreme Importance (Regarding counterfeit, pirate or bootleg merchandise): No vendors will be
allowed to sell or promote any tapes, CDs, record albums, apparel, handbags, or any other goods not authorized by licensed
distributors. Any unauthorized sale of said items will result in expulsion from the exhibit area without refund and possible
prosecution.
Liability: Each exhibitor must make provisions for the safeguarding of his or her goods, materials, equipment, and display items.
General overall guard service will be provided by IBE for the exhibition, but the guard service will not be responsible for the loss of
material by theft or for any cause. Exhibitors must leave the booth space in the same condition it was in at the time of occupation.
The exhibitor is responsible for all damages to the exhibit area and for any and all claims and demands on account of injury,
death, or damage to property occurring in or upon the exhibitor’s booth space or because of acts of the exhibitor, his/her
employees, servants, agents, licensee or contractors. The exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the managing entity
(Indiana Black Expo, Inc.) and/or the owner from and against any/all liability, claims and demands that might arise from or
asserted in connection with the foregoing undertaking and responsibility of the exhibitor. Neither the managing entity, its service
contractors, the management of the American Legion Mall, nor the owners at the convention headquarters, their agents, servants,
contractors, employees, will be held liable for any claims except for claims for damages or injuries caused by or resulting from
the negligence of the managing entity and/or owner, the management of the convention, the owners and their respective agents,
servants, and employees. Exhibitor acknowledges that he or she is responsible for obtaining insurance in such amounts as
deemed appropriate to comply with obligations herein and for his own protection. Exhibitor shall pay all costs and expenses
(including reasonable attorney fees) arising from any and all liability for any rental or occupation of exhibit booth space and
expressly releases IBE, the American Legion Mall, and sponsors from all liability which may arise including injury, damage, or loss
to any person or property. Exhibitor further releases and discharges IBE, the American Legion Mall, and sponsors from any and
all liability for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property that the exhibitor might sustain while participating in Circle City Classic
Subletting: No booth space shall be sublet. Any unauthorized subletting will result in expulsion from the exhibit area without
a refund and will be subject to prosecution.
Rules and Regulations: The Circle City is a family-friendly event. All food vendors must submit to IBE the completed application and a list of food options that will be served with a price list. The food and price list must be approved by IBE. No full meal (meat, 2 sides and bread item can exceed $20). Food prices must be the SAME on event day as the approved price list.
