Circle City Classic®
HBCU Battle of the Bands

For decades, the Circle City Classic has brought the excitement, culture, and tradition of HBCUs to Indianapolis, creating opportunities for communities to celebrate Black excellence both on and off the field. As we continue that legacy through the IBE365 initiative, we are proud to keep the tradition of the Battle of the Bands alive. More than just a musical showcase, the Battle of the Bands is an opportunity to introduce younger generations to the history, culture, and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through music, competition, and community, we hope to inspire the next generation to learn about the institutions that have shaped generations of leaders, artists, educators, and innovators.Meet the bands bringing this tradition to life because the tradition continues, and the next generation is listening!
