Indiana Sports Corp is the amateur sports champion, stimulating economic growth, inspiring healthy kids and creating vibrant communities throughout Indiana. Indiana Sports Corp was founded in 1979 as the nation's first sports commission. Its mission is to promote Indiana as an attractive place to live, work and visit through sports and sporting events that bring national and international attention to the area.
Indiana Sports Corp events attract visitors and many are broadcast all over the world. Upcoming Indiana Sports Corp events include Super Bowl XLVI in 2012, the 2010 & 2015 NCAA Men's Final Fours, the 2011 & 2016 NCAA Women's Final Fours, and the Big Ten Men's & Women's Basketball Tournaments through 2012. One of Indiana Sports Corp's most-valued partnerships is with Indiana Black Expo. The two organizations have co-presented the Circle City Classic since its inception in 1984 and the annual Youthlinks Indiana Charity Golf Tournament and Pathfinder Awards since 1988. Both events fund numerous grant and scholarship programs, including Indiana Sports Corp's CHAMPS (Champions in Life) Grant Program.
